M. Katherine Hurley

I have had chronic back issues all of my adult life. I am an artist and spend most of my day standing in front of my easel and leaning over large canvases on the floor as I work on them. I need to be strong and balanced. 
 Nancy Willman has been my friend and yoga instructor for over 10 years. If it weren't for her teaching of mind and body alignment through the practice of Hatha and Scoliosis Yoga I would not be able to sustain my career as a painter. Yoga poses and breathing are an essential part of my daily practice.
